(man where did everyone go?)

I know the frequency for the Temple at Yavin 4." Cy said. "They can connect us to whatever Republic ships are nearby, see if anyone can get here in time to turn the tide of Yuuzhan Vong."

Li'el turned to bentus, "bentus a marine frigate will land in the hanger after we leave make a jump to these coordinates." Li'el leaned down and whispered the location of the nearest Tiidani base.

"Come on Jedi well meet them in the hanger," Li'el grabbed anything they needed and made her way to the hanger once again.

Colonel Carabali of the Soban kiith stared attentively listening to Captain Soban issue his orders. The Marine drop/assault frigate: White Desert was to make a b-line to the unknown ship code signed Bentus, dock, and retrieve one Tiidani officer and a Jedi.

The White Desert broke from the support group's formation, taking pot-shots at passing Vong fighters and drones, but remained relatively unnoticed. The Marine Frigates were originally modified cargo transports, but has since evolved into fast, heavily armored boxy delivery ships used to insert Tiidani Marines into hostile ships. they sported relatively light armament 1 anti ship turrets and 5 manned pointdefence slots and could carry two to three heavily armed squads.

The White Desert matched pace with Bentus, the opening to the hanger had just barely allowed room for the frigate in. the landing struts lowered and the White Desert settled to the deck causing some of the deck plates to buckle and groan under the frigate's mass.

Li'el reached the bulk head door in time to see suited troops disembark and set up an atmosphere shield generator. One of the troopers approached the bulkhead door knocked twice and held up a pair of re-breathers.

"re-breathers, most of bentus lost air when we left the planet they are gonna open the bulkhead and put on the re-breather the air will be thin when the remaining air is used to pressurize the hanger." Li'el told Cy before she opened the bulk head door.

The wet soil felt cool and soothing as it oozed between his toes with every step, he chanced a glance back towards the female but the long grass had already closed up behind him.

It was as he looked back Cerberrah could see that he was leaving a trail that would stand out like a Noghri at a Wookie tree party, The long grass was perfect cover but the dew which had settled on the grass overnight was being knocked off as he flew past leaving a dark and very visible trail above.

Cerberrah stopped and stretched out with the force looking for the Gornt herd, which thankfully had not travelled that far past the wooded area, he decided rather than try and limit how much grass he disturbed, he would instead hold his arms out stretched and make the dew trail larger in the hope that anyone seeing the trail would mistake it as a lost Gornt calf trying to get back into the herd.

The wooded area was not far and the pace which Cerberrah was travelling even with the random zig-zagging the gap was closing very quickly.

Taking the long way around Cerberrah headed towards the Gornt herd.

Stopping short of disturbing the herd, Cerberrah sat, crossed his legs and began centring himself to bring his breathing under control.

The Gornt herd continued to make its slow undisturbed meandering away from the wooded area.

After a short time the rising sun began to warm Cerberrah’ back, this he thought was an unforeseen advantage, the glare across the horizon was fierce and unless they had specialised equipment to use Cerberrah would come in low and undetected.

After giving his equipment one last check over, Cerberrah took a deep breath, couched low to the ground and set off.

Cy breathed deeply and evenly, trying to think more clearly even as she tensed for battle. She felt like all her avenues were shut, like she had no control over the situation without a starfighter, a lightsaber, or even a culture she knew of her own. But she would have said, to an apprentice that spoke of such things, that each person makes their own comfort zone.

i more or less like the series but not for the jedi, i like it for the clone troopers, it kinda reminds me of the Starship troopers series. i wish they did more epsoides like rookie or bring in the commandos of delta or the omega, maybe some mandos too. one epsiode kinda stabbed the jedi metaforicaly one trooper argued that they are using a SLAVE ARMY and how is that moral (is a great moral story arch for the clone wars but they kinda did an "eh" cop out. As for ahsoka since shes a child she cant die, so my theory is that shes goes MIA or desides to leave the jedi and is killed by vader years down the road.

(sorry for the wait stuff been insanely busy, and Cy i think as long as we are in the arctic planet's system were fine)

"Li'el, is there anything I can do to be useful? Is this craft equipped with fighters?" Cy asked.

Li'el paced toward Bentus' control being, " Bentus do you have any combat craft?"

" i have lost my combative abilities when i crashed i have only my worker drones."

Li'el paced about the chamber arms fold sunk in thought, it was Cy that that caused her to pause her train of thought. Li'el could feel a sense of restlessness in the Jedi, a wanting to return to combat that even Sjet herself was eager to do.

"What about comms? We could contact the Republic from here with a strong signal." Cy asked.

"well have to back off possibly outside the system, do you know their frequency?" Li'el looked Cy over, "what did you have in mind?"

The image of Soban, his attention back on them, spoke "I'll send over a marine frigate to collect you, and well cover you."

((OOC: If we've lifted off from the surface of the planet, should we move to a different thread?))

Cy hated leaving the presense she had sensed behind. But Captain Soban was right; if this planet was a death trap for ships, it would be foolish in the extreme to attempt to mount a rescue in the middle of a space battle.

The liftoff had been smooth, barely noticable but for Li'el's shift from ground to space tactics and the sudden influx of comm chatter.

Cy did not want to interrupt, but she want to stand a watch and be useless either, not when she could fly nearly any ship given to her and fly it well. "Li'el, is there anything I can do to be useful? Is this craft equipped with fighters?"

In the back of her mind, she thought Don't worry, I will pointedly ignore the fact that being given a ship would allow me the option of going back to the planet to rescue that Jedi.

Why in the names of the Nine Hells, when I was so eager to get off, does going back to that Force-forsaken planet seem such a good idea as soon as I break the atmosphere?

She tried to cast out into the Force, feeling as if she had shaken free of the Yuuzhan Vong field of numbness of mind, searching for the Jedi who had called for help.

But then another idea struck her, something a bit more relevant to the task at hand. "What about comms? We could contact the Republic from here with a strong signal."

Li'el flickered as sense of relief at the sight of her comrade. Cy met the purple eyes of Captain Soban with the accusing stare. She could sense that he and Li'el weren't on the closest of terms, but also that he was a practical man. "Captain Soban, I'm Jedi Master Cy-Raxx Otauna of the Republic military. We've got people down here in need of extraction from hostile territory."

Soban looked from Cy to li'el, "Sorry Jedi master, that would be bad tactics the planet has some natural/unnatural EMP radiation, we wouldn't land we would crash. We don't how or why that create of yours is able to leave the planet."

An alarm wailed off screen, soban's attention was redirected, "Gunners focus on the analog frigate! helm hard to port! all fighters maintain harassment screen! Deck officer prepare a shuttle."

"You must go." Bentus spoke "i have no control over my keepers they are attacking,"

Li'el marched to bentus, "bentus now that we out of the planet's atmosphere direct some of the Movers to defend, and move closer to those Tiidani ships." she turned to the screen, "Soban we cant lose this ship, its the Unbound ship Bentus."

Soban stopped and looked disbelieving at Li'el then turn to bark an order off screen, " Tact! order fighter groups Cresh and Dorn to screen and protect new ship: designate tact three. Major get that ship over here."

Yeah, I've seen that comic. *grumbles*

As much as Anakin/Ahsoka angers me, the idea of Padme punting the pint-sized Padawan out of jealosy made me lol.

I have enjoyed the clones a lot, and especially in the recent episodes with Ryloth one can really see how the creators are getting used to using a longer timeslot--the episodes are getting more cinematic, more well-paced. They're finally slowing down and letting us savor some scenes now.

(Hello everyone! Thought I would try and post something to get some RPing going. Anyone can join if they want! I hope this doesn't seem dorky :-/ )

-Verzweiflung

Walking about the lush forests of Zonama Sekot, Verzweiflung went about wandering off for something useful to come into his mind. It had been a few years since the end of the Yuuzhan Vong war and he was quite happy that it had come to an end. Since the end of the war, there had been a few desputes amoung his own kind about caste barriers and alligance, but none of it really seemed to bother him at the moment.

He had seemed to notice that a few domains had gone to ally themselves with the New Republic while others had remained true towards the old, traditional ways of Yun Yuuzhan. Verzweiflung did not mind, his opinion still meant little amoung many now that he was looked on as shamed; espacailly under his father. His opinion meant nothing towards his father, as he remained a traditionalist. Verzweiflung secretly went for Sekot and the New Republic, hoping for a chance of peace to settle the few desputes. Although he had never been found of Jedi, he had always enjoyed toying around with their technology whenever he had the chance but it was only for research purposes.

A snaping twig caught Verzweiflung's attention, making his head whirl over his shoulder as he looked back with startled eyes.

Something is coming...I wonder what? He thought, his red eyes narrowing slightly as set off to where the noise had come from.
