"I'll be in touch."
Sooner than you think, Tln'aa Shoolb thought to himself as the Jedi gave word of his departure. "Be sure that you are, infidel. I would hate to have to render this arrangement null and void."
Now would be as good a time as any to test out the effectivness of the implant, it would be pale in significance to the pain he would feel once the creature mapped his synapses, connecting with them in such a way his movements could be tracked.
He had concealed within his robes another, modified, villip along with the one he'd handed to Drevin. This villip however, was somewhat the key to causing the implant within the Jedi to react, thus inflicting a sharp jolt of pain that could be increased with the small motion of a hand.
And that was what he did right there and then. With a barely noticable flick of the wrist, he placed a hand on the small biot which seemed to awaken in his hold. Tln'aa Shoolb's gaze turned to the Jedi in expectation. This would be amusing if nothing else.

"Be sure that you are, infidel. I would hate to have to render this arrangement null and void."
What a shame that would be he thought. The sooner he got out of this place the sooner he could work out his next move.
Drevin reached for the hatch release to close the ramp and at that moment a surge of pain flashed through his head. It lasted only a few seconds but no doubt the intendant had caught sight of the momentary grimace on his face. He looked up to see the intendant staring at him expectantly. Drevin shook his head distractedly and pressed the switch, he really needed to go into a healing trance.
The hatch closed as Drevin made his way to the cockpit. He probably had a concussion, that would explain the sharp pain in his head. It was something he could have certainly done without while trying to fly out of the system under enemy fire, but thankfully V3 could help out there.
Drevin seated himself at the helm wondering whether or not he should simply blast off Garqi leaving nothing but a crater behind where the intendant stood.

The implant caused the desired response then- That reaction had been all too clear. Tln'aa Shoolb had been concerned that the Jeedai might not be affected by it, through some means of their peculiar powers no doubt.
He remained silent, just giving a simple nod of acknowledgment of the departure. But he was certain he'd seen confusion in the eyes of Drevin. He could suspect all he wanted, such implants were standard among those who served them, though Shoolb thought the Jedi should have taken some comfort in the fact that his was relatively minuscule and unnoticeable compared to those they used on the slaves. Those implants grew at such a fast rate and to such a consuming degree, that they rendered the slave almost useless near the end. Then they were no good as anything other than what the infidels would call 'cannon fodder'.
Tln'aa Shoolb waited until he saw the landing ramp retract and found that he actually felt a slight sensation of apprehension knot in his stomach. If this failed as his last little mission had, then it was his neck on the line. He thought back to what he had told the Dark Jedi on their way here. "I do not fear death." Fear it, no....welcome it? Yes, if that was Yun-Yuuzhan's wish. A small fear blossomed in the depths of his mind then, why had he hesitated? He quashed the question twice as quick. He could not afford for the adverse effects of this infidel-afflicted galaxy to taint him further. No Yuuzhan Vong could.
Turning on his heel he started back across the open land toward the wrecks and ruins of built-things that now served as a training ground. He would need to get word to the remains of a small fleet above. This would not take long.

Drevin pulled hard on the joystick to avoid another plasma bolt from the pursuing ships. The move caused his broken arm and ribs to scream in pain but he held on, not daring to let go while the unrelenting ships followed him. He'd expected them to be quick on the mark but this was ridiculous.
Drevin hadnt gotten far out of the atmosphere before the proximity alarms had sounded indicating that they had incoming enemy ships. The odd looking vessels had come at them at an astonishing speed. Drevin had fired at the first ship but the bolts just seemed to simply disappear. Only a constant barrage of laser fire could slip through the unusual defenses.
There were four of them on his tail now, each sending a constant volley of plasma his way. V3 had already plotted a hyperspace route to Yavin before they had reached the outer orbit but now they just needed to make it to the way point and hold on long enough to jump. The Kath Hound was in bad shape, the rear and port side had taken most of the damage but it was becoming increasingly hard to avoid the multiple blasts. So Tin'aa Shoolb does have a sense of humor after all he thought. The intendant would probably be thoroughly enjoying the display. Drevin found himself wondering again how the jedi would have faired against the ships in their x-wings.
The ship rocked as the enemy skips scored another direct hit on the port side. Finally V3 let out a squeal before the Kath Hound made the jump into lightspeed.

From the comfort of the command center, under the watchful eye of Shedao Shai's direct subordinate, Deign Lian, Tln'aa Shoolb watched the display recreated by close range Villip Choirs. Outwardly he did not appear to be too bothered by the persistent volley of plasma-fire the freighter seemed to be up against. If Drevin was half the prevalent Jeedai he claimed to be, then this would be no problem at all. That and Tln'aa had taken some perverse amusement from testing those so called limits these infidels said they had.
In the blink of an eye the display changed and the Kath Hound was gone. Tln'aa Shoolb relaxed visibly, leaning back into the thorn-spiked chair he had seated himself upon. The natural razor-sharp protrusions sank into his back with little effort, and Tln'aa Shoolbs eyes lost some of their focus as a delicious pain made it's self known.
"Now we need only wait." He muttered, more for his own benefit than that of the one watching the whole display with him.

Drevin stood in his cabin, staring at his own battered reflection in the mirror. It was not a pretty sight. He hadnt had the chance to enter into a healing trance while they were traveling through hyperspace, spending most of the time making vital repairs to the ship instead. The yuuzhan Vong fighters had done a lot more damage than he'd expected and the loss of the altitude thrusters and landing gear would make the touch down very difficult. Even the approach threatened to force the ship apart.
Well you asked for it.
It felt strange coming back here again after so many years. A mixture of emotions engulfed him as he'd set eyes upon the beautiful moon. It didnt feel like a homecoming, but then why should it? He hadnt come here to rejoin the jedi. Had he? His head was so full of ideas and possibilities that he couldnt really be sure. It certainly seemed more appealing than returning to the Vong. A sharp burst of pain shot though his skull again, this time causing him to hold onto the bulkhead for support. The pain slowly became lesser until it subsided completely. This is no concussion he thought.
Drevin dressed in the same tattered and torn robes that he'd worn at Garqi, just for effect. He didnt need to act out the pain, that was all too real.
Drevin made his way to the cockpit and strapped himself in, the ride through the atmosphere was going to be very rough. The actual 'landing' was going to be far worse.

Thunder rumbled over the of of subcommander Vo'or Sharr. The third group that had not returned. His nostrils flared slightly at the smell in the air he did not like it. He lowered the vilip of subaltern Kirin Zek. No response.
"Shall we send a larger search party for the three subcommanders and their warriors?" One of his lessers spoke.
"No...something is wrong in this jungle. We must approach with a larger force." The subcommander's staff hissed as he stared out into the shadows of this plant filled world.
"Warriors report a blaze in the jungle. That would explain the smoke. and possibly the deaths if they were the cause." The subaltern spoke again.
"No..no there is something amiss..There is a taste in the air I do not like and my amphistaff agrees.." He thought he saw shadows move and then the roar of some animal. Several animals coming at them through the wilds or rather through them. The warriors wasted no time at the challenge and training these beasts gave them. They were running from something. Something they feared behind them.
He turned his head quickly at a light he saw on the head of his subaltern and he did not notice. An infidel weapon's mark!
"Get down!" He shoved his subaltern away as a beam of light exploded where they had been.
"We are under attack tell those warriors to stop wasting time with those animals and bring the infidels out into the open!"
The chazrach slaves immediately took off into the jungle as Vo'or Sharr stepped down off the beast that controled them onto the forest ground. Finally a battle to bring honor. As he made his way in He expected to find infidel soldiers. What he found instead were the slave soldiers tossed about and left with burning holes in their bodies.
"Eliminate all foreign invaders.." The unmistakable voice of the infidel's abominations. Only it was spoken in mass! And what he saw in the jungle only made him realize the graveness of the situation. Hundreds of them and the sounds or trees falling as their craft made their way forward. The unmistakable sound of infidel weapon fired followed in waves toward his warriors as they ran to the challenge and he with them. This army seemed to be nothing but abominations. Like the war tales of old! The abominations fired at their armor. A futile effort but what came behind the skinnier ones gave them pause. Missiles exploded against his warrior's armor. Shrapnel and fire burning or completely blowing off their faces. Then came the abominations from above. They were sickeningly silent as they moved over the top of the foliage.
He took his vilip to contact the commander's aide "Tell commander Shedao Shai! Tell him that an army of abominations infests the forests! Tell him the time for honor is now for all warriors!"
The soulless abominations continued forward unyielding as any yuuzhan warrior.
A massive almost arachnid like abomination's leg came down on top 5 of his warrior's. It's form stood up over the other abominations and an infidel's voice came out
"No you fools..Aim for their heads..you'll never get through that armor!"
The abominations all seemed to change tactics instantly as he issued his own for the warriors to guard their heads but more than a few had lost their lives at the explosions of the missiles. The thud bugs were doing what damage they could. But for every one they destroyed 10 more seemed to flow out from the jungle! There would be no question for him..This would be an honorable death!

** Posting as Shedao Shai **
Back still bleeding noticeably through the small fleshy gaps in his light vonduun armour, Shedao Shai straightened himself as the embrace of pain released it's tenuous hold on him. Bones snapped audibly back into their sockets causing delicious explosions of pain to wrack his joints for a brief moment.
Across the room his direct subordinate, Deign Lian, knelt. forehead pressed to the floor, he delivered the news of what was transpiring in the jungle close to the ruined university. The commander had not taken the news well, particularly as such occurrences had interrupted his 'meditation'. It was in ominously silent moments like these, that Shedao Shai knew he had openly given his subordinate cause to worry. The calm before the storm as it were, and his temper was fierce.
"You interrupted me to speak of abominations?" Shai said finally, allowing a slight edge to creep into his voice. "You assured me that when we had taken this world you would personally see to it that it would be cleansed of all abominations."
Deign Lian may not have spoken - he was not invited to - but Shedao Shai could tell by the way the prone warriors breathing seemed to still for a second, that he had noted his own mistake with a grimace. How pitiful.
"Yet now you tell me that Vo'or domain Sharr has encountered an army of them?" Still the commander's voice was low, calm but none the less threatening.
Indeed, Shedao Shai was certain he caught a glimpse of his subordinate flinch when he spun on his heavily booted heel away from Deign Lian insultingly. "You spend so much time in the company of honourable warriors yet you are incapable of learning. There is no room for simpering and deliberation in our caste, that is the task of the intendants...perhaps you missed your calling when your mother spat you out into the creche?"
His eyes narrowed to darkened slits, the fingers of his left hand curling to form a fist so tight the tall warrior could feel his own blood trickle down the talons piercing his palms.
"We are the Yuuzhan Vong, Deign domain Lian...the infidels wish to hide like cowards while they send their abominations to do their work for them, but the blasphemies they send against us are of no consequence. And we will meet them, break them, destroy them. Do not rest until this is done...."
Shedao Shai now turned back to face the prostrate figure once more, the temptation to merely snap this one's neck with a well placed twist of his foot was almost as much as he could take.
"...And I would caution you not to waste my time with such insulting news again." He hissed, wiping his bloodied hand on the bracer covering his opposite arm with a blackened smear.

***Posting as Deign "It's not my fault!" Lian***
He stood still as the commander admonished him. This near heretic! He had to keep his mouth shut least he receive more punishment than the humiliation he had received since he was assigned here.
"We are the Yuuzhan Vong, Deign domain Lian...the infidels wish to hide like cowards while they send their abominations to do their work for them, but the blasphemies they send against us are of no consequence. And we will meet them, break them, destroy them. Do not rest until this is done...and I would caution you not to waste my time with such insulting news again."
"Belek Tiu;" He saluted "Commander Shedao domain Shai." Insulting news indeed he should have thanked him from pulling him from his "meditation chamber" for the glory of destroying these abominations.
"Wherever these abominations have come from my word will stand..Every last one of them will be destroyed."
He waited to be dismissed before he went so. He would take out his hatred of the young commander on these abominations.

- Posting as Shedao Shai -
Scrutinizing the painfully thin warrior before him, Shedao Shai gave a sharp nod of agreement, though he felt that his subordinates words were spoken out of pitiful fear and rather bereft of any certainty.
"Wherever these abominations have come from my word will stand..Every last one of them will be destroyed." Deign Lian had said.
Shedao Shai had glowered down at him, his words a threatening hiss through jagged teeth and scarred lips, " Better for you that they are. We will find the source, and when we do we shall destroy that also. This task is not beyond any of Yun-Yuuzhan's children, you will not fail." Because if you do... Shedao Shai thought soon after, the idea almost causing him to smirk to himself slightly.
He made some form of a dismissive gesture with one hand and backed it up in voice too, "Go, see to it that this is done."
The commander paused for a moment, taking the time to recall the details of Tln'aa Shoolb's report. Had the intendant not mentioned some kind of abomination that had utilized a form of infidel Masquer? Was this how these blasphemies had been able to go unseen during their scouting missions to the near corners of this world?
At Deign Lian's back he called out, adding, "You will summon Tln'aa Shoolb to me, then you may begin the task of finishing the cleansing of this world as you were supposed to." His words were cutting, condescending and he meant every one of them.

Kazura watched from the control center of the giant spider walker droid as the Yuuzhan Vong and the droid armies left here so long ago waged battle. The yuuzhan vong were strong and smart warriors but the droids had sheer numbers working for them and they were all engaging upon the single spot. He pressed buttons feverently firing weapon after weapon that was still usable upon this craft. It had kept well. A single missile he launched took out a small section of soldiers as he laughed out loud "Puny organics! I'll show you who's the abominations.
He issued another order to the droid armies "Destroy thing that gets in your way. I don't care how but the University must be taken.."
"Roger Roger..The inferno droids have already arrived."
"Excellent! Set the invaders and the rest of this forest to the flame!" The giant walker droid continued to move forward and fire barrage after barrage of blaster fire down as it stepped over droids and Yuuzhan Vong. He magnified the university in the distance.
"Hnn yes yess it must still be there..heheh. Pure genius.."

-Posting as Shedao Shai-
The intendant cowering before him had furnished little in the way of more useful information. But what he had spoken of was actually having encountered an rather irksome abomination during his journey here. One that claimed to have secreted it's self aboard the Jeedai's ship and used some kind of masquer to fool them into thinking it was indeed organic. Shedao Shai was less than pleased at this prospect.
"You are sure that this abomination you spoke of, did not belong to the Jeedai? Are you not so weak minded as to have fallen foul of Jeedai Sorcery?" He had said.
A statement Tln'aa Shoolb had strongly denied. Denial Shai had quashed the moment he had placed a booted foot on the prone intendant's neck. One twist in the wrong direction and he'd pop his skull from his spine. He was pleased to see that the lowly subordinate did not flinch. He still had some integrity then.
"I am certain fearsome one, the Jeedai appeared to dislike the blasphemous thing as much as one of our own, he jettisoned it soon after imprisoning it!" Tln'aa Shoolb uttered, his voice muffled slightly by his close proximity to the dusty floor.
Shedao Shai eased off slightly, resting his weight on the foot still firmly planted on the floor.
"Jettisoned it, where?" He asked, his voice a deep and threatening growl.
"Shortly before arriving. The Jeedai assured me that the container it was in was disabled and would be unable to find it's way here alone."
Unseen to Tln'aa Shoolb, the commander's eyes narrowed considerably. This intendant had so clearly spent far too much time in the company of infidels, it would only be right to return him to the gods for allowing him to become tainted!
"And you believed it?"
With one swift movement, Shedao Shai removed his foot from the back of the intendant's neck, hooking it beneath the prone figures side for a sharp kick to the ribs that sent the object of his anger tumbling backwards into an fungi covered wall.
"Fool!" He hissed, now pacing once more towards Shoolb, who made no attempt to get up. To do so would have meant certain death. "You will contact your Jeedai, you will find out what is really going on here...and then you will kill him. I will deal with the abominations!"
Moments later saw Shai head out with a battle group to meet the one his subordinate had taken with him only hours before. He did not have to go far...it seemed that the battle had come to them. Abominations of varying kinds littered the line of trees across the training ground, for every warrior felled by the blasphemous creations, another carved several into smoldering pieces with their amphistaffs.
Shedao smiled fiercely at what he saw, this would not take long.

Maf's and vulture droids circled the massive building sized droid attacking all yuuzhan vong warriors and vehicles that came toward it as it's operator moved closer to the university. It's own weaponry firing down and forward at firebreathers adn rakamats and any unfortunate yorik-et's that came between them. The droids on the ground below served the same purpose. Doing battle with what their program saw as invaders.
Kazura watched the images of all going on beneath the body and feet of the the fortress droid and laughed aloud.
"If this is the best you can do Yuuzhan Vong, I suggest you return home galaxy!" His voice boomed over the battle field through speakers sectioned off in places on it's massive eight legs.
Kazura's attention turned to the object of his interest upon this world in the front holomonitor. The agricultural univeristy It had been fortunate that the yuuzhan vong spy had chosen to bring the ex jedi here. He laughed aloud at the thought. Of course there was no such thing. The yuuzhan vong had no idea. He had already won!
"Prepare the drill once this fortress is over the university!" He ordered to the droid crew of this vessel. He returned to watching over the battle. Organics such pathetically inefficient things he had always thought but these yuuzhan vong were full enough of their own quirks and tricks but they were still organics..and that made them all the weaker once they were severed from each other
"Launch the cannonballs!" he ordered again as he tapped his fingers together with a sadistic smile.
"We'll see how worthy you are of taking this galaxy Yuuzhan Vong."
On the underside and top of the war droid Several large ports opened and what appeared to be cannons arched and aimed firing their payload of orb like shells that landed among the droid's forces and the yuuzhan vongs.
Some of the warriors almost laughed at the sight that infidel abominations would use such primitive methods as throwing rocks!
But this balls were not rocks as their outer shells contorted and pulled away revealing in it's stead metallic insides unfolding and standing taller than 3 of the smaller b1 droids.
Jagged metal claws extended from the black obsidan like metal and single red eye glowed as they came to life. Pieces of the black armor pulled away as dot like patterns and out from them extended spikes. The gray arms and legs were thin but strong as they soon started to prove as they joined the other droids in battle.
