He fled the republic to obtain the freedom necessary to experiment with live sentient beings, a component he deems necessary in his research of the force and it's psychological influence. Although he is generally villainous toward the tiidani and republic citizens (though it would be more precise to call him insane), he is much more of a neutral, ambiguous figure toward innocent beings. He has injected himself with nanomachines that can repair injuries and give him a sense of a god complex. he travels with a young dark haired girl, Elira, who acts as his bodyguard and assistant.
