Appearence:
Pallid blueish grey in complexion, with a seinewy figure that would appear to many as though she were on the brink of starvation, Kaalyanii is without question a shamed one. A testiment to this are the failed, spiked coral implants that would have once adorned her shoulders, elbows and spine. She lacks much, if any, true scarring and has been stripped of her domain symbol, an act she would tell you was a result of the gods final disapproval of her. Kaalyanii is very much a shadow of her former warrior self, but it is apparent by her festering and broken implants alone that she was once of this caste.
History:
Kaalyanii was born to warrior parents of domain Hul, one of the more powerful domains among the Yuuzhan Vong. Placed in their worldship creche, she was taught the ways of the warrior caste. During this time, many a warrior sent to teach the young of this creche expressed a dissappointment in Kaalyanii's abilities as a warrior, stating she had dishonourable tendencies, some even suggesting she had the makings of a coward and a desire to preserve life rather than give it willingly to the gods - a very un-Yuuzhan Vong like trait.
Despite all this, Kaalyanii managed to fight her way through her teachings and was escalated upon her leaving the domain creche to the rank of warrior.
All this was to change however, when during the lead up to the invasion of the infidel's galaxy, she became struck down by a mysterious affliction that effected her newest of scars, causing them to weep irritably. Her peers began to suggest that this was a sign of the gods displeasure, forcing her to attempt to cover this up anyway she could. Even this was short lived as upon recieving a new shoulder implant, it failed spectacuarly as did the others in turn - undeniable truth to Kaalyanii that the gods displeasure with her knew no bounds.
Cast out from her caste, she was sent to live among the festering namless ones that populated the undesirable sectors of the worldships, the shamed ones.
eeking out an existance she worked here, along side the lowly worker caste at whatever tasks were assigned to her by her domains Prefects. While her resolve remains steadfast, she truly believes that it was the gods that wished this misfortune upon her. Kaalyanii has never divulged her reasons for this, but remains hopeful that Yun-Shuno will grant her clemency.
Strengths:
Despite her shamed status, Kaalyanii is still very young by Yuuzhan Vong standards, and as such has been able to survive in the squallid conditions that she and her fellows reside in. As far as she is concerned, there could be nothing worse than what she has faced - this has lead to curiosity about all other aspects of worldship life and the life beyond it. Also a desire to experience the unknown.
Weaknesses:
She is a shamed one, considered by the society that she lives in to be worthy of not so much as a thought. Treated with the bitter contempt of all those around her, she believes that she has been lead to suffering due to her past actions that displeased the gods. While her past was once that of a warror, she has not the courage to rise up against those who appear more worthy than she, so would fare badly in a scuffle.
