I have recently received a couple of messages stating that some people are waiting on others to post, before they can reply. As a result this seems to draw the RP to a grinding halt for all those who check in often.
What I am proposing is, that members who are going to be away for a long period of time, say a week or so, post in the General or News section, that they are going to be away. This way other players can post around them, or - if given permission - can move certain players characters around with their own, so that the story does not grind to a halt for weeks on end.
We all have run in's with Darth Real Life, so at least this way, other people waiting on posts can know to not expect a post before a certain date, rather than being left to wonder if a player has simply left or not.
