History:
Extremely young at the beginning of the Yuuzhan Vong war, Tsiing Yim bore witness to little of the raging invasion, being one of many too young to aid the effort initially. Born into domain Yim, she shared her crèche-teachings with those crechelings of the more prominent domain Kwaad – of which her own domain was subservient to at the time.
A keen interest in her caste’s work, she began her first days out of the crèche walls tending to the many biots, shaped by adepts and masters alike, aboard the vast worldships’ gardens. It was here she was hand picked by a master shaper, to become his apprentice as soon as she reached her majority. Sadly this was not to be, she had born the news barely a klekket when the war-effort took a turn for the worse, dictating that those masters still aboard the worldships, be moved to the newly claimed Yuuzhan’tar.
Left to languish in what little she knew, Tsiing Yim remained behind, being taught the protocols by a shaper adept, Yuna Phaath, while the taking of the infidel’s galaxy continued .
It is here she has remained, waiting to be reassigned to a new settlement or worldshaping project, where the masters of her caste might teach her enough for her to attain the rank of adept.
Most recently, having heard of the involvment of domain Kwaad and the Jeedai, she has become interested in the tales told by those warriors who have encountered them - more so, she has become interested in studying the mystical, yet heretical, beings - her ambition is to eventually successfully shape a Jeedai, where domain Kwaad failed.
Strengths:
A natural curiosity to seek out truth from rumour, Tsiing Yim is as enthusiastic as they come. Still only an initiate, she has yet to reach her full potential and would benefit from the open minded teaching of a master capable of feeding that curiosity of hers. Her mind is not as closed as those older shapers around her, the idea of the heretical is certainly not beyond her.
Weaknesses:
Still as young as she is, she is open to suggestion and may be easily turned in order for her skills to be misused. While she may consider herself savvy enough to know the difference between the rights and wrongs of shaping, her ambitious streak could lead her to ruin if guided incorrectly. Her real test of wills, will come when she is ready for advancement, especially what she will do with several cortexes worth of information.
