"Know this, you are only alive now because I allow it. I have little need for you save to sate the appetite of my coufee, you will listen to me when I say what I am about to. Spare me the lies this time insolent one, and I may spare you. Tell me what it is you know."
Kazura stared at the face of the yuuzhan vong through the porthole glass and with a faint smile that became more complete as he stood. He stepped toward the door until he was face to face with the alien invader.
"What I can tell you all depends on what you want to know." His voice and manner seemed to have changed. He seemed more confident in his words and motion as he placed a hand against the side of the porthole looking out to the Yuuzhan Vong.
"But what I told you of your companion was true..my previous "employer's" Zishisa's men attacked a vessel and brought her back for interrogation. She told the hutt about you and your people after enough truth serum. That is how those men and I knew what face to look for..A gamorrean by the name of Ieektak reported seeing someone of your description at the Moldy Glass cantina and from there it was simple enough for the big bloated bitch's men to find you." he spoke the last part with a sneer of disdain.
"They pulled me from my work to tell them what she was along with the rest of her equipment. I was more than at a loss for words but she was more than fascinating. Enough for me want to find more of you out..and when I heard about Sernpidal and then you. This was the chance of a life time. A whole new race, a whole new species, and most of all someone who understands what has to be done with the republic.."
He gave a respectful bow of his head toward Tln'aa Shoolb. "I know a great deal about this galaxy, it's sciences, it's governments, and it's people. My knowledge is yours."

He feigned interest, it encouraged talk, though in the case of this one, he didn't know when to be silent.
"But what I told you of your companion was true..my previous "employer's" Zishisa's men attacked a vessel and brought her back for interrogation. She told the hutt about you and your people after enough truth serum. That is how those men and I knew what face to look for..A gamorrean by the name of Ieektak reported seeing someone of your description at the Moldy Glass cantina and from there it was simple enough for the big bloated bitch's men to find you."
The gamorrean...he had not mentioned that before, but he was one of the few who had lingered in that cantina, this was true. He had never suspected anything untoward about the overweight creature though, aside from the obvious. And if what he claimed about Nia Shul was based on fact, better for her that she was dead already. He would have seen to it personally otherwise.
The infidel was droning on again, he found himself sifting through the babble trying to ascertain fact.
...and most of all someone who understands what has to be done with the republic.."
Now that gave him cause to smile in such a way it was almost caustic on the eye. That was what they thought?
" Truly pathetic." He muttered to himself more than anyone. Did this simple minded infidel believe that was all they were after? A place in the galaxy? An niche like the imperial remnant had been reduced to? He almost laughed out loud. There would be no co-existance, no symbiosis between they and his kind. He had ascertained that they clearly did not know the full extent of their plans here. For that, he was mildly apeased. He wanted to tell him what was really going on here, but that would spoil the moment and people such as this seemed to delight in picking their 'moments.'
"I know a great deal about this galaxy, it's sciences, it's governments, and it's people. My knowledge is yours."
" It is ours regardless of if you offer it freely or not."
He waved him silent with a half hearted motion with one particuarly scarred hand.
" I have heard enough," He said, keeping an air of superiority about him, " I am sure that when we arrive at our destination, your knowledge can be put to use." And the Commander so seemed to enjoy extracting such knowledge from ones such as this.

Drevin listened as the prisoner babbled on, keeping an eye on the intendants expressions. Clearly Tin'aa Shoolb was unimpressed. Drevin turned the volume up on the holocam a notch.
So this odd looking "human" was just going to give the yuuzhan vong all the information they needed to invade the galaxy. If he had been human then Drevin would have cut him down for cowardice. Only he was not as he appeared. Drevin smiled at the thought. This Yuuzhan Vong was about to bring possibly the biggest abomination right into their own territory and present it to his commander. If only he knew...
A thought occurred to him then, if he was to inform Tin'aa Shoolb of the prisoners identity, the intendant may grant him a certain measure of trust which would perhaps allow him to gain access to more information. It would save the intendant a lot of humiliation but more importantly it could save Drevin too.
An alarm began ringing in the cockpit, signaling that they were about to emerge from hyperspace. Drevin pulled on his black vest, clipped his lightsaber onto his belt and made his way to towards the cockpit.

The sudden sound of the alarm going off almost made him stand up with a start, but as he heard the sounds of the dark Jedi's footsteps across the deck head for the cockpit, he guessed that this must signal the end of their darkspace journey for the meanwhile.
He did not give the prisoner a second glance as he moved off to check his theory was indeed correct, finding Drevin in the cockpit where he suspected he was headed previously.
"We have arrived as planned?" He asked dubiously, there was still the possibility that the Jeedai could be up to something. But of course, he expected that...he was up to something himself.
Stepping around the diminutive abomination known as V3 - he was sure to give it a wide berth - he helped himself to a seat. He was not about to be sitting in the back of the ship while this dark jeedai had the chance to change course. Tln'aa Shoolb let Drevin do what he must, but kept one eye on him. Slowly, long streaks of stars began to reappear out the viewport, reverting to pure light-flecks as they returned to realspace.

"We have arrived as planned?"
Drevin nodded as the Intendant seated himself in the copilots chair, showing no alarm that he had apparently appeared out of nowhere. The view port filled with endless stars as the Kath Hound came out of hyperspace.
"Here we are. Garqi." Drevin had never visited this planet but it looked just like any other inhabited planet in this part of space, which made him wonder why they had come here at all.
"There's something I think you should know about our stowaway before you decide to do anything rash." He could see he had Tin'aa Shoolb's full attention now. This was his chance to gain some small amount of trust.
"He's... as you would say an abomination." Drevin kept his eyes ahead of him as he allowed the information to sink in.
As soon as he'd shown up in the cockpit Drevin had known what he was. At first he had thought that perhaps the stowaway was himself a yuuzhan vong since he had felt no emotion from him. But he had quickly discovered through the force that he could feel the lifeless form of the droid. Something that he had so far been unable to do with Tin'aa Shoolb.

Tln'aa Shoolb was surprised how much he actually felt a sense of relief at their sudden arrival, the task was part way done he supposed. Or perhaps it was he'd spent far too much time watching his own back lately not to feel that way? Either way, he didn't like it. His relief was short lived however, when the Dark Jedi spoke up.
"There's something I think you should know about our stowaway before you decide to do anything rash."
He certainly did have his full attention, as well as his supicion.
"He's... as you would say an abomination."
Now that had not been expected and he was certain to reign in the look of surprise that flashed momentarily in his eyes. How could he not have seen this? Was this some kind of Jeedai sorcery? Was he trying to trick him and if so, to what means? Tln'aa Shoolb could see the Jeedai gaining little out of such a claim, had he not been the one to leave him to dealing with that abominable thing back there? If he'd known then, that added insult to injury. Was the dark Jedi mocking him? If this was indeed the case, he'd sooner have it out the way now rather than have brought that thing before his commander. That would have resulted in worse events than this minor indignity.
"You are certain of this?" He asked in a low tone, moving as though he meant to stand, but was waiting for the right words and time to do so.
"If this is one of your tricks Jeedai..." His nose ridge wrinkled up slightly as his features took on the form of a snarl, he would jettison the self acclaimed Scientist abomination now if he could be sure it's 'death' was assured.

"You are certain of this? If this is one of your tricks Jeedai..."
Drevin could see that his information had certainly come as a shock. Good he thought.
"He's as much a droid as V3 is" he said without mockery as he nodded towards his own utility droid. Tin'aa Shoolbs face seemed to contort further. He couldn't get used to the way these Yuuzhan Vong looked, if this was indeed what they all looked like. The tattoos were a work of art, even beautiful in their design. But the hideous face that held them resembled only one thing. Death
"I have... ways of knowing." He was carefull not to reveal how, since that could lead to complications. "But if you doubt what I say then I can prove it." He rose from the pilots seat and unhooked his lightsaber, being careful not to move too quickly. He didn't want to start a fight with Tin'aa Shoolb. Not yet.

"I have... ways of knowing. But if you doubt what I say then I can prove it."
Tln'aa Shoolb nodded the affirmative and motioned for the dark jedi to ajourn to the section of the ship where the escape pods were held. If this turned out to be a trick, he would just as soon throw the Jedi in there with the supposed omniscience abomination and deal with them sooner than expected.
As before, the being inside the pod seemed to be in a rather inert state, that would account for the fact that he'd thought that odd earlier then, this being a machine. Tln'aa's gaze flicked to Drevin's
"Prove this theory." He demanded, a certain terseness to his voice that could not hide. He felt his muscles bunch beneath the fabric of his cloak, if all was not as it seemed, he'd be using force sooner rather than later.

"Prove this theory"
Drevin looked at the intendant and shrugged before turning his gaze towards the odd looking scientist. odd was certainly the right word. What in stars end was this droid acting as a scientist for? Even Drevin found it quite offensive seeing the droid mimicking a human, he could only imagine what his Yuuzhan Vong companion must be feeling.
"Nothing personal." He said with a wicked smile as he activated his crimson lightsaber and brought the blade down in an overhead arc. The lightning fast move would have seemed a blur to anyone watching, even a computer brain would have had trouble reacting to the move quickly enough.
The glowing blade cleaved cleanly through the fabric on the left shoulder of the scientist, but only cutting deep enough to expose some of the circuitry beneath. Where there should have been flesh and bone, only components and metal could be seen.
Still holding the ignited blade, Drevin felt the anger that always came naturally with such a move slowly subside.

(oh my goodness..you've just gone and made Kazura mad >.>; J/K this post is open to any revisions necessary just thought i'd make it. Aww man Tln'aa might know now ;_; didn't want him to know so sooooon)
Kazura's eyes opened as the two returned and he stood up looking on to the dark jedi that had come into the door.
"Nothing personal."
Kazura smirked faintly as his head lowered some. His life like eyes still looking toward the dark jedi as though he was sizing him up.
Midichlorian count (leaving this open but please nothing outrageous obviously below 20,000 xD ) Intiating Dashta hybrid mode.
"Young fool.." he regarded this dark jedi.
Once the red blade of the saber ignited a force sensitive presence arose from Kazura but not a human presence. While still sentient this presence was in pain and malignant. Drevin's saber slashed across his arm causing him to release a shout of pain. As he shouted he lunged quickly if not more so as a jedi would. Grasping the dark jedi's hand holding the saber. Any doubt in Drevin's mind of what he was might have been cast further aside crushing force of his hand.
Phase switch. Ysalamir. Self repair 71 % complete Blood pressure increased
The presence as quick as it came then changed into a void a void not unlike a force sensitive being withing a ysalamir's presence and in that weakened state Kazura forced to drop out of his hand and with his free hand grasped Drevin's shirt and tossed him like a rag doll against the back of the escape pod's seat where Kazura had just been sitting moments ago. Kazura quickly grabbed for the red saber on the ground as he dashed as fast as an ollobac would toward the escape pod door and the Yuuzhan Vong intendent. Once he was out he slammed the back of his hand against the eject pod control. Doors about to close and possibly eject if the would be sith was not fast enough.
"To think you could have been the one. Perhaps the dark lord was mistaking about you." He spoke back toward Drevin without turning his head back.
Midichlorian count: Error..
Eyes instead upon the Yuuzhan before him. Almost daring him to try anything. The wound that Drevin had left seemed to have fixed itself. Blood flowed freely from the carterized wound however guiseing what would have been the could metal interior if the yuuzhan had caught even a faint glimpse in the midst of the speed.

He hadn't expected the sudden outburst and Drevin hit the wall hard. The hatch closed, leaving him trapped inside the escape pod. He quickly began sending a transmission to V3 via the escape pods comlink.
The droid had the hatch open within seconds and Drevin dived at the unsuspecting scientist. He reached up to the droids coat and using both hands and his foot he threw the heavy machine over himself and back into the pod.
Using the force to call his lightsaber to him, Drevin reached for the launch button on the control panel before the droid could react. With a sound of releasing pressure, the hatch closed and the pod shot out into space.
Shaken and seething with anger, Drevin turned to the intendant. "Your proof." He said through gritted teeth.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. At first the strange marriage of flesh and machine turned the tables on even the dark jedi, then it began to stalk towards Tln'aa Shoolb. He needed no encouragement to reach for the weapon he'd carried with him all this time.
He had cause to doubt it's effectiveness however, when the abomination before him appeared to heal it's self! One thing he did not doubt though, was that he would prevail in this fight, the gods were still with him. And as if Yun-Harla had interceded in some twisted form, the Jedi was up again, turning the situation around once more.
No sooner had the escape pod door sealed shut, then it was open again, by means of a physical or jeedai sorcery, Tln'aa did not know. But now the droid had been hurled back into the escape pod, shortly thereafter being ejected into the depths of space with little hesitation from the jedi.
"Your proof." He heard Drevin say after the sounds of launch had faded, leaving a faint ringing in Tln'aa Shoolb's ears.
Still somewhat taken aback by the sudden turn of events he nodded once in confirmation and glanced back to the hatch where the escape pod had once been berthed.
"I will not ask how you could tell he was an abomination, but I will ask you if he now has means to pilot that thing to the nearest world?" His tone of voice was a concerned one, it mattered little if the abomination made it to Garqi, he would almost certainly find himself in a smoldering immolation pit before the cycle was over. But if he managed to pilot the craft to a neighbouring and unoccupied world. Had they seen the last of this omniscience abomination?
He did not thank the Jedi, he was still an infidel after all.

He was half expecting the intendant to begin a verbal assault, but he received only a nod of affirmation.
"I will not ask how you could tell he was an abomination, but I will ask you if he now has means to pilot that thing to the nearest world?"
Drevin thought about what he'd just done. Escape pods were not cheap, but he'd had no choice.
"He should be able to reach Garqi without a problem but it will take time and he'll have no control over the pod itself. It doesn't have a hyperdrive. But If you'd prefer we destroy it..." He let the sentence trail off.
It would be simple to blast the floating pod to dust, but there was little need as far as Drevin was concerned. He clipped the lightsaber back onto his belt.
"What happens now?"

"He should be able to reach Garqi without a problem but it will take time and he'll have no control over the pod itself. It doesn't have a hyperdrive. But If you'd prefer we destroy it..."
That idea had merit, he thought inwardly. But the mockery of life would die regardless, the afformentioned planet of Garqi was now pretty much occupied by Yuuzhan Vong forces. The droid would perish along with those who created it, regardless of weather he found out who they were, their time would come also.
"We have wasted enough time infidel, do what you must but be quick about it. I do not wish to have a reocurrence of our past mishaps." He answered tersely, dismissing any further comment he might have had with a motion of one hand.
"What happens now?"
" We wait," he began " I will contact my superiors and they will take matters our of our hands for the meanwhile. They may choose to send us a Yorik-trema as means to travel to the surface."

They may choose to send us a Yorik-trema as means to travel to the surface."
He eyed the intendant with a hint of surprise. They would be using some sort of Vong ship? "I can hardly wait." He muttered sarcastically.
Drevin could only imagine what was in store for him when they reached the planet. Interrogation was a certainty, if he survived that ordeal and gave them just enough information to go on then perhaps he'd make it out. If not then he would have to fight his way out.
He'd seized this opportunity to recon the enemy. For that was how he now saw the Yuuzhan Vong, as an enemy. This was his galaxy, his people and as much as he hated admitting it, he no longer found himself hating the jedi. They would always be his enemy but they were possibly the only ones who would stand a chance against the yuuzhan vong. Drevin may have chosen to follow the dark side but he was no traitor to his people.
"Ill be in my... cabin" he'd nearly said chamber. He didn't want to risk losing his ship to these invaders so he would instruct V3 to pilot it to the next star system after he left and wait for further instructions. If he didn't make it out the droids recordings would be the only source of information that could be passed onto the republic.
