"Thank you..." He had said, and that had brought a smile to her sad features. "Dont think ill of me. My path lies elsewhere, but im not lost."
It was almost as though she had heard those words uttered before, but not from him. She nodded knowingly, responding without pause, "Just merely in the shadow...I know." There was no malice in her voice, little taint of disappointment, but for the best part she understood him. She hoped the same could be said in return.
"It's never too late to change your mind, we will need all the help we can get when we reach Endor." Tionne offered, though she already knew the reply deep down, "If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have known about the Jedi there until it was too late, it is we who should be thanking you."
A quick glance over her shoulder, her platinum hair falling about her face in disarray, " Sooner or later they will see that too" she added, they meaning the masters who had opposed his plan. Everything still hung so precariously in the balance, but she had a good feeling about this, they would return. All they need do was trust in eachother, trust in the force.

"Just merely in the shadow...I know."
Drevin couldnt help but pick up on the disappointment in her tone but he also knew that she understood his reasons. He wondered to himself if her disappointment was due to his leaving the jedi again, or whether it stemmed from something else. He shook the thought away, he was unsure if he even wanted to know the real answer.
"If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have known about the Jedi there until it was too late, it is we who should be thanking you. Sooner or later they will see that too"
The fact was, he wanted to go with her more than anything and if his ship had been flyable he knew deep down that he would have gone anyway. But he would have been going for all the wrong reasons. He would have gone to protect her even though she didnt need his protection. And he would have gone to slay as many yuuzhan vong as possible.
He smiled despite himself, shaking his head. "I think the others might have had a problem with that." Especially Kam he thought. He couldnt blame the man, he was only worried for his wife.
Dawn would come soon, his time it seemed, had run out again. Drevin gently grasped the Jedi Masters delicate hands in his own.
"May the force be with you..."

His reaching for her had not been unexpected, she'd sensed it a moment before it happened, but that did not change the look of surprise in her eyes, albeit faint.
"May the force be with you..."
She smiled slightly, returning, "And also with you"
Everyone had to choose their own path, and in this war those paths were becoming increasingly sepearate, even among the Jedi, dark or not. She had to wonder how those with Master Skywalker were fairing. His family had been dealt a huge blow with the Solo's loss of Chewbacca. Even those who had flown along side Kyp Durron were in a state of mourning...poor Miko Reglia.
Slipping her hands from his hold Tionne guestured back the way she had come, "I should...." what she had meant to say was that she should be getting back, the others wouldn't wait forever. But she seemed to lose the words before the end. She could feel the others urgency through the force, even as she turned on her heel. "Goodbye, Drevin."
And with that she was gone, making her way towards the small docking bay where the others would expect her. It was with a great sadness that she did so, but a hope for those they could save kept her going.

(posting as Tahiri Veila)
Tahiri stretched in the cargo hold of the shuttle she had stowed away on. She had a feeling this was an important ship by the students gathered around it. Before the masters noticed, she slipped inside while it was being loaded. In the meeting room, thoughts had leaked like vapor, and she learned of Endor. The childhood stories were there; the Rebels had once faced the Empire years before her birth, aided by the native Ewoks. That something threatened the planet again excited and frightened Tahiri. Was this her chance to make history? Tahiri smiled in the dark, feeling the humming of the ship's lights.

*** Posting as Drevin ***
The Jedi Master turned and left as the morning light began to filter through the cracks in the temple walls.
"Goodbye, Drevin."
Goodbye Tionne... As he watched her go he felt a mixture of emotions, but his mind felt clearer than it had in a long time. V3 Tweeted irritatingly, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Anymore talk like that and ill be using you for spare parts for the ship." He grinned and turned on his heal to head for the service bay. He had no intention of walking all the way through the jungle to get to the Kath hound. He'd helped the jedi, and they would provide him with the necessary transport and tools he needed. Even if they didnt know it yet
.......................................................................................................................
Drevin dived in and out of the trees in a wild and highly dangerous manner, barely missing the large trunks by a fraction each time. His long hair trailed behind him as animals and predators alike scattered out of the swoop bikes way, sending howls of distress into the air. The usually silent morning jungle was alive with sound, the whine of his engine and Drevins own exhilarated shouts only adding to the chaos.
He felt care-free as he flew through the jungle at 600 kph on the commandeered swoop bike. V3 didnt share his enthusiasm however, being strapped to the rear of the bike in an uncivilized manner hadnt impressed the droid. Drevin had merely remarked that it was punishment for the droids earlier rudeness.
He'd taken the bike from the service bay without being seen, only when he'd started the engine outside the temple had he noticed the lone figure standing at one of the high open balcony's. A few seconds later and Drevin was just a blur.
Part of him secretly hoped that the swoop belonged to Kam, the thought brought a wide smile to his face as he turned the swoop upside down to spiral through a small gap in the dense trees...

-Posting as Tionne-
Tionne padded into the docking bay a bit all of a fluster. Thankfully no one was completely ready for the off just yet, and she had had time to collect a few scant and rare medical supplies from the medbay before hand. "All set as to who is joining us?" she asked Kyle as she slipped inside the ship, up the landing ramp.
Inside Master Ikrit was already there doing some last moment checks before they departed. Good, he had seen sense then. For the most brief of moments, Tionne felt an excited flicker through the force, catching her of guard she did not get chance to pursue it as it flickered out to nothing, like a candle that had just had it's flame snuffed out. Ikrit seemed oblivious to the sensation, perhaps he had suspected it was Tionne herself? Her first thoughts had been that it was Ikrit...perhaps one of the students had caught wind of what they were planning and had come to see what all the fuss was about? That was probably it, and Kyle would have seen someone should they deign to sneak aboard. Ikrit, too would have found them.
Berating herself for such worried thoughts, Tionne settled for placing the supplies she had collected into the small bay designated for medical usage. The small craft was going to become pretty packed when they reached Endor...

Elmira posting as Tahiri
Tahiri's heartbeat quickened as she felt the probing sensation in the force brush over her like a feather. The feeling did not return, but the girl scrabbled for a better hiding place. She needed only to keep a secret until the shuttle landed or found itself too far into hyperspace. She directed her thoughts elsewhere, casting them into the great interstellar void where they would go unfelt, like an idle fishing net or a floating medusa colony. Her resolve returned, and she clambered out of the side compartment, straightening out whatever objects she might of displaced, being sure to leave no sign of her presence. Her bare feet clambered into the curving wall, built with foot holds. Taking the holobook and utility blanket she had brought, Tahiri shut the ceiling panel behind her. It was both spacious and narrow inside the distorted hollow pathway the trap door led to; here the thrumming of the ship was stronger, allowing her to tune into it, riding the sound waves. Tahiri lay down to sleep.

"All set as to who is joining us?"
Kam had agreed to stay at the academy, there was no sense in all of the senior members going. Senior. The thought nearly made Kyle scoff.
"It'll just be the three of us as we agreed. Besides I dont think we could fit another one in this thing." He gestured around the small space in which the three of them sat. The ship was cramped already, with very little space to maneuver, it would be very full when they rescued the others.
Kyle had heard of Drevins departure. Or rather he'd heard him depart. The Dark Jedi certainly liked to make an exit. Kyle sighed deeply, he'd hoped that the boy would stay with the jedi but he knew deep down that that had never an option for Drevin.
Good luck kid. He sent through the force as the ships engines sprang to life.

"It'll just be the three of us as we agreed. Besides I dont think we could fit another one in this thing."
Kyle had a fair point, the place was crammed packed with what scant supplies they could afford to take with them, let alone what it would be like when they returned. When, she told herself, she sent that thought to Kam too. The absence of her husband had bothered her slightly, she had thought he of all people would wish to see them off. A faint worry caused a burning sensation to spark to life within her chest, did he think that she and...no, he knew, and he would never have thought that way.
"Best warm the ship up." She said somewhat softer than before, her manner changing as she fought the nagging worry within her.
Ducking back inside, she slipped into the cockpit to run those last miniute checks. Something was concerning her, but she could not place it's source. This mission couldn't fail, they had to do their best, was what she felt to do with that?

"Best warm the ship up."
Tionne seemed to be pre-occupied with something and it didnt feel to Kyle as though it was concerning their mission. He was about to ask what was bothering her when he realised that perhaps there was some trouble between her and kam. He couldnt understand why, other than him being worried for he safety. But he knew better than to get involved in other couples disputes so he carried on with the flight checks.
"Everyone set?" Ikrit nodded as he strapped himself in, he looked very uncomfortable in the large seat and had to resort to tying the restraints rather than buckling them. Kyle made one final check on the system displays to make sure that there was nobody hanging around the outside of the ship.

She could sense Kyles concern, but chose not to voice the fact she had, she was grateful for his concern but did not wish to discuss what had occurred over the past few days. More concerning was this nagging worry she had, one moment it was there, the next...nothing.
The ship was ready to go in little time at all, Tionne handing over the pilots seat to Kyle once more. Settling down in the co-pilots chair she focused her mind on what she should be doing. The apprehension seeping from the others was apparent, they would draw strength from each other, this was unlike anything they had ever faced before, therefore it was daunting.
((OOC: feel free to time skip if anyone needs to, or move to the Endor thread etc, ))

The journey through hyperspace was long and tiresome but thankfully they had plenty to occupy their minds. They had studied some charts and maps of Endor during the journey. There were very few settlements on the moon and out of those they had no idea which were occupied by the Vong so it would probably mean landing in the forest.
They had no idea what to expect when exiting hyperspace however, there could be an entire fleet of Yuuzhan Vong warships waiting for them. They would have to rely on the force to determine the captured Jedi's position, which would normally have been a difficult feat on such a life filled moon. But the huge voids that the yuuzhan vong left in the force would give their position away. Providing they were only concentrated in one area.
Kyle shut his eyes and tried to gain some insight into the coming mission, he let the force flow through him and began to meditate. He felt the ship around him, the endless stream of stars passing by, his companions sat beside him and, something else... He concentrated hard on the source of the unrest he felt, barely a flicker in the force but there none the less.
It was close. Here on this very ship in fact.
He turned to face Tionne and Ikrit and spoke in a hushed voice. "We're not alone."

"We're not alone."
It must have come as some surprise then, when Tionne didn't look as surprised as she should have. Kyle was only confirming one of her concerns, and he was considerably more adept in the force than she was. "Did you sense any hostility?" She whispered back in kind, being careful to keep her mind on what she was doing, they could be being observed through the force and a sudden change in thought or a complete blank would alert whoever their stow away was to the fact they were aware of them.
Tionne dare not reach out into the force to probe for a sense of hostile intentions, that would also make them aware, if they were a force sensitive. One thing worked in their favour, they had sensed them. This meant that they were certainly not Yuuzhan Vong. Her first thought was to think it might be Drevin, and yet she hoped not. She did not wish to think ill of him in light of their last conversations, this could not be an elaborate ruse. It hadn't felt like him....
"Should we take a look?" She asked dubiously, they could not risk waiting until they landed and having their ship sabotaged or comandeered to leave them stranded on a world crawling with Yuuzhan Vong.

"Did you sense any hostility?"
Kyle thought for a moment before answering. He didnt want to alert whoever it was to their knowing so he ignored the urge to probe further. He shook his head. "No. Excitement and...curiosity"
Kyle turned to face Master Ikrit, the Jedi Master nodded an affirmative. He'd sensed the same. They had been too preoccupied with the charts during the flight through hyperspace, but now they were all aware of the mysterious presence. It had to be one of their own to be able to conceal their presence for so long. They must have snuck on board before he or the other masters had arrived, which meant that they'd probably been eaves dropping on the meeting too.
There was no such thing as a secret meeting at the praxeum.
"Should we take a look?"
There were very few places for anyone to hide aboard the ship, it wouldnt be difficult. He nodded and slowly rose from his seat.

"What do you mean it wont work?!"
Drevin stormed up the landing ramp for the eighth time in an hour, clutching the hydrospanner tightly in his hand as though he was about to ram it through the droids disk shaped head. The thought had occurred to him.
As he entered the cockpit V3's head swiveled around 360 degrees to face Drevin, he must have seen the look on his masters face however and quickly backed away from the terminal.
Drevin knelt down beside him. "You've attached them the wrong way!" He indicated to the wires protruding out of the panel that controlled the ships calibration systems. V3 let out a series of squeals and beeps informing Drevin that they'd been connected the wrong way around before the ship had crashed and he was merely correcting the problem by changing them back over.
"But thats impossible..." Drevin shook his head in disbelief before realising that the droid was right. He'd been flying the ship with one of the most vital systems connected backwards. No wonder he'd had difficulty landing. That and the gaping holes in the hull and the lack of landing gear...
Drevin put his head in his hands in frustration, not caring about the grease covering his face. The repairs were not going well. Baudo class yachts were fairly sleek in their design which meant that there were very few protruding parts that could be ripped off during a crash. But they'd still spent a long time patching up the numerous hull breaches. The Kath Hounds internal systems were still a complete mess however and no matter what they tried, they couldnt get them back online.
Maybe I should have taken Tionne's offer.
