Kaalyanii hung back a moment, having not heard the translation, yet again the implications were clear to her. He wanted her to follow him...out there. Was he insane? There was nothing sane about this situation at all, the shamed one realized and followed on with haste when she knew she would have little choice.
The corridor had descended into chaos also, what few people were in the near vicinity were heading off on their own escapes - they seemed fearful, though for what reasons she would never understand. Authorities perhaps? This seemed like a dive, even by accounts of other abominable infidel worlds Kaalyanii had heard of.
The Jeedai had picked up his pace, Kaalyanii was fast as far as pace went, but not quite fast enough to keep up with the force aided one. The abomination brought up the rear of the tirade of unlikely comrades as they rounded the corner into what seemed like a labyrinth of more sickly sharp-angled pathways. The shamed one's head swam, this place all looked the same, how were they supposed to find their way out?! All the while, the impending threat of capture was at their back.

Drevin glanced behind to check that the others were still following, slowing his pace slightly as they rounded a corner leading to the turbo lift. A rodian was desperately hammering at the keypad controls for the lift when Drevin and the others appeared.
The rodians eyes widened in horror at the sight of Drevin's blade, or perhaps it was the sight of the shamed one that put him into a frenzy. He cursed loudly and began firing wildly with his blaster, Drevin batted the shots away with ease and when the rodian refused to give in the Dark Jedi deflected two bolts back at him, each one catching him on the knees. He fell to the ground in agony as Drevin moved toward the lift, no longer paying the cursing alien any attention, the turbolift was nearly there.

The rodian went down like a shamed one felled with an amphistaff, Kaalyanii recognized him as the one from the fracar back in the apartment they had just come from. She had not the time to contemplate ending him - he was as good as dead anyway. What concerned her was getting into that turbolift, the thought both disgusted and terriffied her...for one thing, what was this abomination?
"Puul! - No" she shook her head adimently, there had been some things she'd managed to put up with for the desperation of their situation, but she wasn't getting in that thing without knowing what it would do...or where it was supposedly going to take them. The rodian had been in a bit of a hurry to get in, so she doubted that it was infact another ploy to contain her....but it was also a hideous abomination, and she'd had her fill of those for one day.
Yet Kaalyanii knew, if she remained here, she would almost certainly die at the hands of her persuers. She would rather that than going back with the twi'lek to wherever he had intended for her to go. If the Jeedai had been correct in his assumptions, she would have taken the first opportunity to take her own life. No, she couldn't go back there and she was reluctant to go forward. They were too high up to make for the huge transparasteel viewport that was a window.

"No!"
Drevin rolled his eyes as V3 translated. They didnt have time to linger here and argue. He could understand her fear and it was as 'insulting' as it could possibly be to her people but they couldnt afford to let her beliefs get in the way.
As if on cue the doors to the turbo lift slid open revealing the empty compartment. Seeing an opportunity to flee the rodian lunged for his blaster but Drevins lightsaber came down on his outstretched arm before he even got close, severing it at the elbow. The Dark Jedi turned to face Kaalyanii and nodded to the open turbo lift.
"This will take us to the ship. Or would you rather go back to the twi'lek?" He glared at the shamed one.

The rodian, not content to be left in the apartment block to die of his wounds, had made a bid for freedom himself. The Jeedai's blade moved so fast, it was all but a deeply coloured blur...soon followed by the dull thump of a severed limb hitting the duracrete floor. If he wasn't dead before... The shamed one thought with disdain.
"This will take us to the ship. Or would you rather go back to the twi'lek?"
Growling out a response that was born more of fear than insult, the shamed one glared back at the Jeedai defiantly for a moment. " Tsii dau poonsii, Drehviin - Keep your mouth shut drevin."
She then took several hesitant steps into the turbolift, all the while glancing around cautiously, as if even so much as making contact with the walls of the lift car would cause some death-bringing reaction.
All relatively safe and accounted for, the chime and irritatingly automated voice that indicated the floor sounded...just in time to see a Twi'lek male hurtling round the corner at the end of the corridoor at full pelt. Eyes wide with recognition, he'd raised the blaster carbine he was carrying and fired off several shots in rapid succession at the lift as the doors began to close. His cries of anger were incomprehensible even to those who did speak ryl, his headtails whipping about wildly in fury.
The doors couldn't have closed at a better time as far as Kaalyanii was concerned, perhaps this abomination wasn't as bad as she had first thought....and then it started to move. "Phahg!" she cursed as her bare toes curled as though her clawed toes would actually grip the carpeted floor.

The decent was fairly quiet once the doors had closed and Kaalyanii had finished cursing. V3 was trying desperately hard to translate but with little success.
The twi'lek would have to wait for the turbo lift to return before he had any chance of catching up with them, unless he decided to jump out of the top story window. Drevin hoped for the latter.
The Dark Jedi shut down his blade but kept the hilt in his hand. He looked around casually at the other two occupants. If the situation hadnt been so serious he would've found it very amusing. A Dark Jedi, a Yuuzhan Vong and a droid all in one elevator. Kaalyanii looked anything but amused however.
The lift finally came to a stop and the door swished open, revealing a small reception area that lead out onto a narrow walkway. On the other side of the walkway was the entrance to the docking bay where the Kath Hound was berthed. It would be dangerous out in the open, in minutes the place would be swarming with bounty hunters and mercenary's. Drevin reached down and pulled the knife from his boot, holding it by the blade he offered the handle to Kaalyanii.
"If you try anything. I'll kill you without a thought."

"If you try anything. I'll kill you without a thought."
As the Jeedai held out the weapon toward her, the shamed one glared back in a mixture of confusion and disgust. Firstly, that was a made-thing weapon, and secondly, she almost found the thought that she would simply turn on him at the first opportunity perplexingly offensive. That vexed her more than anything - she owed infidels nothing, it was the infidels that had partly gotten her in this situation in the first place. If she had just stayed with the warriors, she might have made it back to the worldship in one piece. Maybe. Now this Jeedai was her only chance at getting back, for now. Why would she turn around and kill her only method of getting back? These infidels were perculiar - that was her only conclusion, but then what did she expect from a galaxy that allowed abominations to live along side them as though they too were sentient beings?
Again she glared at the weapon with a firey gaze. After a visible grimace, she took hold of the hilt, taking the weapon from his hands. Of all the things she had been forced to do, things just kept getting more and more....blasphemous. With a nod of understanding to the Jeedai, she responded, "Dwi, tiz denaai - Yes, I understand."
The run across the concourse was going to be the easy part, already, behind them she could hear angry shouts in the building that was the apartment block. No way back, only forward and that was fine with her. Kaalyanii rushed forward, the Jedi taking the lead and the abomination...somewhere behind.
Inside the apartment block, Ta'ak had watched the doors to the turbolift close with a disheartened and bitter glare. His ticket out of a debt was getting away and with what appeared to be a Jedi. What was going on here? Perhaps the new republic operative had double crossed him? Tracked him down and his cargo with him.
The twi'lek felt his lekku curl slightly at the ends, he smoothed them down with the flat of his palms....the fosh had better be doing a lot better than he was.

heero was slammed aside by the door, barely twisting his body and surrounding himself with the force to keep from being injured. he pushed the door off of himself and rand down the hallway to the turbo-lift, realizing that it would be too late before it got back.
"damn thing" he said, his head plumes turning red as he force-pushed a hole in the wall and dived out. it was a gift of luck that he could fly, seeing with his avian vision the ground far below and diving headlong at it, pulling up mere feet from the ground and screaming away towards the docking bay, which was just a hop-skip away.
in his hand was still gripped his cross-weaved poisoned vibroblade, his antenna's sensing the force coming from the dark jedi, it's taint almost visible in his rage. he would catch up, of that he knew, but what would he do when he did?
he was about to find out.
"i'm coming for you, jedi scum!" he screamed as he flew up a little and over the gates. he then dropped and slid on his clawed feet to a stop in front of the ship that it appeared the jedi and the vong were headed for.

The Yuuzhan Vong took the knife, albeit reluctantly. "Yes, I understand." He was all too aware of the fact that she could plunge the blade into his back at any point. If she did try such a thing, it would likely happen once they were safely away from their pursuers. He hoped it didnt come to that, it would be a shame if she died, even more so if it had to be him who killed her.
The trio cautiously moved out into the reception area, Drevin felt the warning in the force before V3's sensors had even picked the threat up. Drevin ignited his lightsaber and spun quickly as two security droids came clanging up one of the side corridors on the left and two more blocked the door to the walkway in front of them.
"Seems your quite popular Kaalyanii."
Drevin jumped high into the air and landed a few feet away from one of the droids, dodging blaster fire as he did so and decapitating the droid with his blade. The head fell to the floor with a clunk but its body continued to function, as did its blaster cannon. The other droids quickly moved into the fray and began firing.
Nobody said this was going to be easy.

"Seems your quite popular Kaalyanii."
Was that an observation or some strange form of infidel humour? Kaalyanii wondered idly as she observed the security droids moving in from as many sides as were useful to them. Wonderful...more abominations.
A simple melee weapon was helpful in situations such as this, but she would have preferred an amphistaff to a simple coufee, this was going to be interesting. Still, she had experience with demolishing abominations, she'd done it once she'd do it again many times over if she had to. The Jeedai had already gotten a head start - head being the operative word, when one of the droid's heads clattered to the floor and rolled to a halt at her feet.
Hefting the large and quite heavy chunk of abomination, Kaalyanii hurled it with as much force as she could muster, at the head of another - who's back was turned to her in favour of the Jeedai. In a extremely unorthodox move, she feinted to the left and dodged to the right when the grotesque abomination swiveled to where it thought the shot had come from, firing in rapid succession as it did so. This provided the shamed one with just enough time to leap at the mechanized monstrosity and send it tumbling to the ground while she did her best to smash it's photoreceptors with the spikey stumps of coral implant remnants on her elbows. The droid began to fire wildly at where it thought she was, and that was a good estimate by all accounts because Kaalyanii barely dodged the next shot, needing to tumble almost head over heels off the droid to avoid a shot to the shoulders.
When the shamed one was confident that the abomination had not a clue where she was now, she leapt back at it, hacking at it's blaster arm with the small weapon she'd been given, severing power cables and mechanized synapses as she pulled and clawed at tugging the arm free of it's holdings. Every so often she'd feel the bite of electricity course through her, causing her to grit her teeth in agony, but she held on regardless. No, this was never going to be easy...an amphistaff would be most useful.

Drevin plunged his lightsaber deep into the chest of the headless droid, finally putting an end to its firing cannon. A blaster bolt zipped passed his head, missing by only a fraction as he turned and force pushed the offending machine into a wall. Kaalyanii was doing a fine job of mutilating one of the others, Drevin couldnt help but notice how savage she looked as she hacked away at the droid.
He quickly returned his attention to the downed droid struggling to rise to its feet, sweeping his lightsaber in an arc Drevin brought the blade down on the droid, cutting it cleanly in half.
V3's head was rotating wildly, firing at any droids that came close enough but their armor was thick and the shots were doing very little damage.
One of the remaining droids turned its cannon on the back of the yuuzhan vong as she was busy with the other. Before the droid could fire Drevins lightsaber was sailing through the air, carving the machine in half at the waist. Even as its torso hit the floor the droids cannon was returning to a firing position, this time aimed at Drevin. He dived to the left as the blaster bolts tore the wall behind him apart, calling his lightsaber to him as he rolled away.

The sound of a lightsaber cleaving through metal and couplings caused her to snap her head round at the last moment, her gaze met with the sight of the Jeedai severing a droid that had been aiming at her, in two. This situation just kept getting more weird by the second. Why would any being save another from death? That is why they are infidels...she reminded herself adimently.
The droid's blaster arm finally came free and she brought it round in a fast arc to collide with the legs of another...to no avail. Something kept them anchored to the floor quite well, she'd noticed that when she'd attacked the other abomination. Kaalyanii had not the time to think of it, and plunged the knife she had been given into the photoreceptor of the nearest abomination before it got a lock on her.
It fired reguardless of course, but missed her by a fraction of a centemeter yet again. This was slowing them down...their persuers would have plenty of time to catch up now! One thing could be said for her actions here though, perhaps Yun-Shuno would appreciate her little effort toward ridding this small corner of the world of abominations. The addition of the Jeedai's help might not be overlooked however.
Repeated stabbing at the newly blinded abominations' casing gave her an entry point to stick in her hand and rip out as much wiring as she could manage to before it whirled on her in an attempt to shake her free. The shamed one twisted, pulling the abomination round with her just as it began to try and fire it's blasters. A spray of laser fire sizzled through the air in a wide circle as Kaalyanii clung on, pulling the droid round to fire upon those other abominations still in enough peices to shoot.
It lasted only a few seconds, then the droid toppled taking Kaalyanii with it.

Drevin brought his blade up in a defensive position and batted the blaster bolts away while running at the firing droid. He sliced off the cannon arm first before severing its head and swinging his blade hard to cut across the droids torso. Such force was unnecessary but Drevin didnt care, he was completely absorbed in the dark side.
Kaalyanii had finished off the droid she'd been attacking, the scene was utter carnage with droid limbs spread throughout the reception area. The Dark Jedi felt a brief disappointment when no more came at them.
But then his mood turned darker, the scene resembled too closely to what he'd witnessed all those years ago on Malastare. No, what he'd caused. Only they had been living beings rather than machines. He recalled their horrified faces as his blade systematically cleaved through their bodies, severing limbs and heads. It was like a dream in slow motion, when only a few were left they'd thrown down their weapons in surrender but still he continued the slaughter.
Drevin shook away their ghostly faces knowing that they would return at night. They always did.

heero heard some blaster fire, as well as a light saber's blade resonations, and went to check it out, his plumage still red and his avian face still screwed up. he peeked around the corner to see the vong and the jedi surrounded by working and broken droids.
interesting... this might be my only chance to get in good with them and steal the vong. his plumage turned a dark blue, his face relaxing. he came into the area, spinning his blade, catching a droid's wiring in it's neck as he started attacking the droids with the other two.
a droid was coming behind him as he plunged his cross-weaved blade through a metal chest, frying the circuitry. he held his other hand out toward the rushing droid, sending a concentrated force blast through it's torso, shredding the droid's chassis and dropping it's hed a few feet away.
he looked at the jedi and the vong, making sure they hadn't gotten away, when suddenly some droidekas came through the open doorways and set their shields on, preparing to take fire.

The abomination numbers were thinning - finally, perhaps now they could get away from here. Kaalyanii glanced around the large docking bay, littered with various kinds of made-thing ships of every shape and size she could have imagined. Nothing as large as the triangle ships the warriors had described, but still equally as grotesque and disgusting. And she was going to have to get on board one of those?
More droids filed into the reception area, clearly trying to make good where their counterparts had failed. The shamed one grimaced, things just kept getting better didn't they? Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a small feathered creature appeared from the entrance. Jumping into the fray, whatever it was, it seemed to be helping them with their little abomination problem. Confused, and more than wary, Kaalyanii called across the way to Drevin, extending a clawed finger in the direction of the Fosh,
"Bos sos si? - what is that?"
And more to the point, could they trust it? No infidel was to be trusted, the Jeedai had proved that much back in the alley way, she'd just have to go along with this until she could make a decent bid for freedom. Yet his actions now spoke different things to her than they had originally...now that the language barrier wasn't so much of an issue. Were all Jeedai as accommodating as this one? Did they all share the same ignorance of her own kind? Clearly they must if they continued to expect ones like her to use abominations as though they wouldn't taint her.
A blaster bolt skimmed her head, causing her to drop to the floor in a prone, but poised position. The sounds of metal rolling against metal filled the docking bay then...and in rolled some of the strangest looking abominations she'd seen yet. Unfurling like a razorbug, they took up their positions around the room and up went some kind of blue-tinted field around them. The shamed one gritted her teeth, she didn't fancy her chances of survival much anymore.
