"What is that?"
Drevins pleasure at the appearance of the new droids was short lived when the mysterious force user appeared. A fosh of all things. He watched as the avian took out a droid with some form of blade and then force pushed another, Drevin felt the force clearly in him, but it was untamed.
As the droidekas rolled in Drevins attention remained firmly focused on the fosh, unsure of how to deal with him among so many other enemies. Later then.
Drevin unleashed a storm of force lightning at the droidekas shields, causing them to short circuit temporarily. But long enough for Drevin to rush at one and cut it into pieces with his lightsaber.

heero twisted around and kicked one of the blaster bolts from a droideka, sending it into the sky as he went to the air, dropping what seemed like a massive number of bb's onto the droideka's shield.
such old droids... he thought to himself as the small spheres made contact with the shield and magnetized, creating a small hole for heero's blade to go through. he kept his mind focused, throwing his blade into the hole and through the droideka's head unit, where the brain cpu was located. the shield dropped and the little balls fell with it, heero landing and taking his antique vibroblade from the short-circuiting droid.
"quite a spot of trouble" he said under his breath, just loud enough to be heard by a jedi using the force to amplify such sounds. he didn't expect an answer to that as he went to one of the remaining security droids, plunging his blade through the chest cavity and ripping the side out.
"there's more on the way. i'd suggest we go before any more get here." he said to the dark jedi, fully aware that the vong couldn't understand him.
he was amazed at what happened next... the v3 unit started translating! interesting... he would have to store that into his memory for later use.

Drevin continued his assault on the droidekas, ignoring the others as they fought their own individual battles. He faintly heard the fosh utter something under his breath. If he could just draw some of the droids out onto the walkway he would be able to use the force to push them over the edge, giving the others time to run across. He'd be exposed out there but if they all stayed inside the building it would soon turn into a blood bath. They're only escape was across the bridge.
Drevin leaped over the two droidekas guarding the exit to the walkway, landing firmly on the narrow platform behind them that lead to the bay. Drevins path to the Kath Hound was clear if he just used the force for a little extra speed. He could put this mess behind him and take off...
The Dark Jedi looked past the two droidekas now turning to face him on the walkway and caught sight of Kaalyanii among the chaos, and V3.
No. I cant leave them here.
The avian appeared to be handling himself, plunging his blade into the casing of another droid. If that one fell then it would be his own fault for getting involved. But Drevin couldnt abandon the shamed one to that scum of a twi'lek. For the first time in his life, the Dark Jedi knew with certainty that he was making the right choice.
The droidekas blasters opened fire, Drevin continued to block them but slowly they began to push him along the bridge toward the docking bay entrance. The rapid blaster fire quickly took its toll on the Dark Jedi and he began to tire against the onslaught. The winds whipped at his dark cloak as he fought off the attack, threatening to knock him over the edge of the high walkway. Drevin reached out with the force and tried to dislodge the droids and send them over the edge but they would'nt move. Again he tried but to no avail.
Magnetized to the walkway...
The mistake would cost him everything. As if to seal his fate two more droidekas rolled out from the docking bay behind him and came to a stop on the bridge, trapping him in the middle.
In those last few moments Drevin lost all control over his actions and gave himself fully to the force. It guided his hand, his lightsaber slicing through air and metal. One droid went down, then another. He didnt notice the lone twi'lek taking up a firing position from the apartment above. He didnt even notice when the first bolt hit him in the chest. Or the second, or the third.
The last droideka fell to Drevin's ruby blade as the Dark Jedi tumbled over the walkway and fell into the endless abyss.

V3 translated the fosh's muttered words near perfectly for Kaalyanii and she thought with a great ammount of confusion, that it was the biggest understatement she had heard since the apartement incident. Drevin had put some distance between their little group and himself, leading the remaining droids out onto the narrow walkway where others took up their positions and prepared to fire.
what happened next the shamed one could not explain. A flurry of lightsaber parries and slashes ensued, joined by rapid blaster fire and the sound of droidekas collapsing all around, it really was a sight to behold. Something had to be said about Jeedai sorcery...for all its supposed non existence, it certainly looked impressive - now if it had been executed with a living weapon...
The sound of more shots joined the fray, but Kaalyanii's eyes were not fast enough to see what followed. Somewhere, high up above the walkway, a blaster had been fired. Not once, nor twice but several times...each shot catching the Jeedai as he furiously parried and hacked at the droids closing in around him. The first shot connected without effect, the second appeared to make him stumble but again Drevin continued - his lightsaber a crimson blur. Only when the last abomination had been dispatched, did the Jeedai finally stop.....and fall headlong from the walkway into the smoggy abyss below.
Kaalyanii's eyes went wide, almost expecting Drevin to reappear elsewhere on the walkway...he had to have grabbed something, broken his fall somehow. A negative and shocking mechanical screech from the stubby droid beside her suggested otherwise. Or perhaps it was just an abominations own simulated shock at the supposed loss of it's master. That Jeedai had been her only chance at getting clear of this gods forsaken world, what was she going to do now?!! Perhaps what disturbed her more, was the degree to which she felt shock, even sadness....he could have killed her any time he'd wanted, and yet he'd taken it upon himself to help her, he'd embraced pain along side her, and now death too....but she still lived.
For reasons unknown to her, she looked over at the small abomination the Jeedai called V3, in askence...and then her gaze fell upon the fosh who had been heading their way. The walkway was compremised with that shooter still about - no way forward, no way back - not unless she went through those who stood in their way. But what of the Jeedai? What if he had survived the fall?
The shamed one growled out something barely audible, biting down on her lower lip as if in the midst of a big and most awkward decision. What she decided, she also decided to rationalize...they would look for the Jeedai, what use was a quednak if you didn't know how to ride the beast? But ah yes...the perculiar avian creature - Kaalyanii gripped the made-thing coufee tighter in anticipation.
